The 2018 edition of the Miss Tourism Ghana – UK pageant has been officially launched.
The event which took place at the Clayton Crown Hotel in London seeks to groom and empower young Ghanaian women living in the diaspora to stand tall to help promote Ghana’s Tourism and Culture to the world.
Also the pageant seeks to project, discover new potentials in Ghana’s tourism and also enhance the contestant’s inner and outer beauty through Tourism whilst gaining confidence and championing excellence.
Contestants will undertake series of training and grooming in the promotion of traditional culture through advocacy, photo shoots , runway shows and speeches on Tourism in both Ghana and the Diaspora. Also representing Ghana at International Tourism events.
Applicants must be aged between 18- 25 years of age and also of Ghanaian descent.
The initiative is fully endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Creative Arts and the Ghana Tourism Authority to support and strategise to bring the various tourists sites to life and building national pride.
This is a noble pageant noted for its impeccable excellence in the promotion of businesses which targets Ghana and the Ghanaian market in the diaspora.
